Potential to meet a local need

This site, formerly a roofing company’s headquarters, had permission for just 5 units when we introduced the owner to Shaftesbury Housing Association, which was looking for sites for affordable and accessible accommodation in the area.

Our design for a much larger scheme of 12 units achieved planning consent and the homes were constructed in a Design & Build Contract with Barefoot & Gilles novated to the contractor. Four of the units are wheelchair standard bungalows, four are houses for rent by the Association, and four were retained by the landowner.
